Listed below are the available tooling mounting configurations for our Plug n’ Go Plates
Tripod Configuration
The tripod assembly (standard configuration) is used on concrete surfaces when a polished look is the end result or desired finish.
Bow Tie Configuration
The bow tie configuration is used for grinding on softer surfaces with metal bond tooling when minimal point pressure is required.
This configuration is also used with resin bond tooling for polishing. This greater contact area allows for higher pad speeds (rpm) to achieve a high gloss finish.
Opposing Configuration
The opposing configuration is used when maximum point pressure is required. Use this setting to increase the cutting capability of your tooling. This setting is recommended for coating removal, prepping for cementitious overlays, epoxy coatings and when a CSP rating is required.
Full Plate Configuration
The full plate configuration is used to remove lipage and in areas where bridging is required.
